Directions for Use: - For Bottle Refill: Pour directly from the pouch or refill an old Downy bottle by pouring the contents into it. Follow the usage instructions on the bottle. - Direct Measurement Guide: Use a measuring cup if you don't have a Downy cap. Use 1/8 cup for medium loads, 1/4 cup for large loads, and 1/2 cup for HE full loads. - Automatic Dispensers: Pour directly from the pouch into the dispenser or measure with a cup or the Downy bottle cap. - Manual / Downy Ball: Add fabric softener during the rinse cycle, not the wash cycle. Use the Deep-Water Wash for manual pouring or the Downy Ball for automatic dispensing.
